What is Awakening Coaching?

For almost 20 years we have been training people as facilitators of awakening. Historically, it was thought that awakening could only occur in a hierarchical, and very often patriarchal, context.

Coaching is a very beautiful relationship. It originates from the world of sports: a good swimming coach can guide an athlete to win a gold medal without being a great athlete themselves. It was Thomas J. Leonard who shifted the coaching analogy to other arenas: well-being, executive excellence. He coined the term "life coach." Coaching is beautiful because it is a totally respectful relationship. It is non-hierarchical.

We have transferred the coaching relationship from sports and from life-coaching to the awakening of consciousness. We have found ways that you can be a perfect instrument of awakening without needing to be in some final way "awakened."
